Craig was born and raised in the New York City Metro area. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from Middlebury College and did additional course work at Dartmouth College and The New Hampshire Institute of Art, studying under Christopher Pothier. If you have never seen a Craig Morris work in person, you must do so to get the full effect of his work. The depth and richness of the oil colors are absolutely stunning! The web/digital images that you see here are fine, but do not hold a candle to the "live" work. Trust me, I am now the proud owner of "Waiting For Beckett"! When I saw it online, I was immediately drawn to it. I am no art critic, but I know when a painting speaks to me as this one did. Now that I actually can view it "face to face" I can tell you that it is a spectacular work, and if you are considering a purchase based on the images you see here you will NOT be disapointed! Few investments I have ever made are also so pleasing to the senses. I absolutely love this work!
